What Funding is Available?
The programme is split into two main categories:

2. Farming Investment Fund (FIF) For larger projects, FIF offers grants for capital investments that drive farm productivity and sustainability.
Available grants include:
- Water Management Grant: £35,000 - £500,000 for irrigation and on-farm reservoirs.
- Slurry Infrastructure Grant: £25,000 - £250,000 for modern slurry management solutions.
- Adding Value Grant: £25,000 - £300,000 to enhance farm product value.
- Calf Housing for Health and Welfare Grant: £15,000 - £500,000 (up to 40% of eligible costs).
- Improving Farm Productivity Grant: Up to £500,000.
- Laying Hen Housing for Health and Welfare Grant: £5,000 - £500,000 to upgrade poultry housing.
Who Can Apply?
If you own or operate a farming or forestry business in England and are involved in the production or processing of agricultural, horticultural, or forestry products, you may be eligible to apply.
Application Deadlines
- Slurry Infrastructure Grant (Round 2): Apply by 27 June 2025.
- Laying Hen Housing for Health and Welfare Grant: Extended deadline to 28 April 2026.
- More application windows for productivity, slurry, and animal health and welfare grants are expected to open in 2024-25.
