If you're a sustainability-focused start-up looking for financial support, expert mentorship, and a chance to scale, the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator could be the perfect opportunity. This programme, run in collaboration with EIT Climate-KIC, is designed to help UK and European start-ups that are driving sustainability in e-commerce.

Why Get Involved?

The programme offers two key tracks:

1. ClimateTech Challenge – For start-ups working on solutions like reusable packaging, energy transition, and decarbonisation. Participants take part in a four-week accelerator with Amazon, leading up to a pitch for a potential pilot. If selected, you could secure funding between $50,000 and $2 million, plus a £1,500 travel grant and $10,000 in AWS credits.

2. Consumer Product Programme – Tailored for early-stage start-ups developing innovative, sustainable consumer products. This track includes a 10-week accelerator, a £10,000 cash grant, AWS credits, exclusive workshops, and a Demo Day in London to pitch to investors.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, businesses must be registered in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland, be brand owners, and meet specific criteria regarding product readiness and sustainability impact. The Consumer Product Programme is for products that will be publicly available by December 2025, while the ClimateTech Programme supports businesses tackling environmental challenges with innovative tech solutions.

Making Your Application Stand Out

With applications for the Consumer Product Programme closing on March 7, 2025, and the ClimateTech Programme opening in June, competition will be tough. A well-structured application that clearly highlights your innovation, sustainability credentials, and market potential is essential.
